BuyBox CRM is operated by Canopy Real Estate. This page explains how to request deletion of your BuyBox CRM account and the data associated with it.

How to request account deletion

Send an email to [email protected] from the email address associated with your account.

Include the subject line "Delete My Account" and confirm in the body that you want your account and associated data permanently deleted.

We will verify the request and complete deletion within 30 days.

What Data Is Deleted

Upon verified deletion request, we permanently remove the following from our active systems:

Account credentials — email address, password hash, and authentication records
Profile information — your name, phone number, and any profile settings
Brokerage data you created — deals, contacts, offers, outreach log entries, agent records, commission plans, and compliance records
App activity — usage logs tied to your user account
Case and support records — tickets you submitted via the in-app help feature

What Data May Be Retained

In limited cases, we may retain certain information after account deletion:

Backup copies — deleted data may persist in encrypted database backups for up to 30 days, after which backups are rotated out and the data is permanently removed
Financial and tax records — if you had a paid subscription, transaction records required for tax and accounting compliance may be retained for up to 7 years as required by law
Security and abuse logs — records related to security incidents, fraud, or policy violations may be retained as necessary to protect our systems and other users
Aggregated and anonymized analytics — data that can no longer be associated with you personally may be retained indefinitely

Shared Brokerage Accounts

If you are an agent on a brokerage that was created by another user (your broker), your individual agent record can be deleted as described above. However, transaction records, offers, and deals that you contributed to and that are owned by the brokerage will be retained under the brokerage's control unless the brokerage owner also requests deletion.

If you are the broker/owner of a brokerage and request deletion, all of your brokerage's data — including records for all agents on that brokerage — will be deleted.
